Adman were appointed by the Loughmacrory Community Development Association as Principal Contractor to provide an extension to the existing Loughview Community Centre and construction of a new riverside walkway. The works included development of a two storey steel frame building with blockwork and render walls incorporating an aluminium framed curtain walling system. Other key works included mechanical and electrical fit out and provision of a multi-level gymnasium with full equipment installation. Ancillary works included the construction of a new riverside walkway (with lighting) and additional car parking. All works were undertaken in a busy live environment.
The scheme was funded through the Big Lottery Space and Place Programme and was one of 13 major community projects funded through the scheme.
