Adman were appointed by ERG Renew as Principal Contractor to undertake the enabling works for a new 19 turbine wind farm located outside Garvagh, Co. Derry.

A key aspect of the works involved the construction of 8km of 4m wide site access roads which traversed tributaries of the Agivey River at various points. This element of the works required the construction of 3 no. traffic and pedestrian bridges constructed using bottomless, steel arch frames each measuring 15m long with a span of 6m. The bridge walls and wingwalls were formed using rock-filled Gabion Baskets. Reinforced concrete bridge decks were finished using Type 3 stone.
