Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is typically defined as a broad business concept which describes a company’s commitment to carry out their business in an ethical way. This means managing business processes while taking account of social, economic and environmental impacts and considering human rights.
In view of the above, it is clear that CSR can cut across almost anything a business does and can involve a wide range of activities… so where do we start?
At Adman we have sought to demonstrate our commitment to CSR over five initial areas which are defined in more detail via links below. These are broadly aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda and a number of the 17 goals adopted by all UN Member States in 2015 to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere. The inclusion of these goals (which form part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development) are an integral part of the Adman Group CSR roadmap and demonstrates our commitment to the most important issues of our time.
We are based in Co Tyrone but primarily operate throughout Ireland and offer a level of construction knowledge that spans all aspects of Civil Engineering. Our ability to provide accurate and reliable information in respect of planning and project management enables us to deliver results safely, on time and within budget. As one of the most trusted, recognised and resourceful Civil Engineering companies within the Renewable Energy sector, our Clients entrust us to take projects from concept to completion, in the most cost-effective and efficient manner, while making sure we consider the impact of our works on local communities and the environment.
Ingenuity, dedication and attention to detail are what fuels our operations. It is this that has driven us to become the contracting partner of choice for our increasing list of Clients. Ongoing investment in staff, technology, plant and machinery ensures we continue to offer the most comprehensive civil engineering and construction solutions available.
That’s why we’re committed to working in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – a global blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all.
